Inventory management with barcodes and locations

With Awerka, you always know what's where

Track stock levels, movements, and locations — scan barcodes and keep purchasing, sales, and projects in sync.

Warehouse inventory management

Year-end inventory without weekend shifts? With Awerka.

Classic warehouse chaos: an Excel sheet from last year, two binders, a clipboard at the back of the warehouse. When somebody hunts for a part, three people start asking around. Year-end inventory eats Saturdays. Material disappears onto job sites and resurfaces weeks later — if at all.

In Awerka you scan the barcode with your phone — goods received, booked. On the job site you scan it out — automatically tied to the project. Every part has its bin, its reorder level, its movement history. When material runs low, you know about it before the customer does. Year-end inventory? One button.

There's no shortage of inventory software. Most of them want their own scanner gear and their own little world. Awerka runs on any phone with a camera. And stock levels speak directly to purchasing, orders, and invoices — without you building bridges in between.

Scan the Shelf, See the Stock

Warehouse software with scanners used to mean expensive handheld devices and a separate system. With Awerka the scanner is the phone you already carry: every storage location has its own QR code, printable as a label straight from Awerka.

Stick the label on the shelf, the rack, or the bin. From then on, anyone standing in front of it scans the code with the smartphone camera and sees immediately what belongs there, how much is in stock, and where the minimum level sits. New colleagues find their way on day one — without asking and without memorizing aisle numbers.

  • QR labels from every level
Warehouse, zone, aisle, rack, shelf, bin — each gets its own printable code.
  • No scanner hardware
Any smartphone camera works — no handheld scanner, no extra app.
  • Straight to the stock view
The scan opens the location in Awerka — items, quantities, and movements included.

Got questions? (FAQ)

Yes. Every storage location — warehouse, zone, aisle, rack, shelf, bin — gets its own QR code. Print the labels from Awerka, stick them on, and scan them with any smartphone camera: the location opens instantly and shows what is stored there. No handheld scanner, no special hardware — the phone in your pocket is the scanner.

Yes. Create as many warehouses as you need — central storage, satellite locations, or job-site depots. Each warehouse has its own location hierarchy with zones, aisles, racks, shelves, and bins. Transfer stock between warehouses with full traceability.

Awerka uses a six-level location structure: Warehouse, Zone, Aisle, Rack, Shelf, and Bin. Each level is optional — use only the depth you need. Location codes are generated automatically (e.g. A-01-05-3-12) so every item has a precise, scannable address in your warehouse.

Yes. Walk through the warehouse, scan the QR label on each location with your phone, and correct the stock right there — the location view shows the expected quantity, you enter the counted one. Every correction is logged in the transaction history, so differences stay traceable.

Create purchase orders for your suppliers, specifying products, quantities, and expected delivery dates. When goods arrive, record the receipt against the purchase order. Stock levels are updated automatically, and any discrepancies between ordered and received quantities are flagged.

Yes. Stock levels adjust in real time based on sales orders, purchase receipts, returns, transfers, and manual adjustments. Every movement is recorded with a timestamp and user, giving you a complete audit trail of how your inventory changed over time.

Yes. Define a minimum stock level (reorder point) for each product. When the available quantity drops below this threshold, you receive a notification and the item appears in the reorder suggestions list. This helps you prevent stockouts and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Yes. Awerka connects inventory with your sales and invoicing workflow. When you create a sales order, stock can be reserved automatically. Delivered items reduce available inventory. Products from your catalog flow into quotes and invoices with correct pricing, so your entire order-to-delivery process stays in sync.
