    Yes. The time clock, manual entry, the PDF and CSV exports as well as syncing into an Awerka account are permanently free and usable without limit. There is no trial period, no credit card requirement and no hidden costs. The free Awerka account (free plan) is permanently free too — you only pay for higher plans with more users, storage or pro features.

    As long as you are not logged in, everything lives solely in your browser (localStorage). No data goes to our server — no cookies, no tracking, no login. That makes the tool 100 % GDPR-compliant. The downside: if you clear your browser cache or switch device, the entries are gone. Anyone who wants to avoid that syncs their times into a free Awerka account with one click.

    Yes. Via the Add manually button you enter date, start, end, break and a description. You can click existing entries in the list to edit or delete them. This also lets you reconstruct past days if you were out and about or forgot to start the time clock.

    The PDF export creates a classic timesheet with date, start and end time, break minutes, net working time, task and project — plus a subtotal of all hours and (optionally) the total revenue at your hourly rate. You can print it straight from the browser or save it as a PDF and forward it to customers, employers or your tax advisor.

    Since the Federal Labour Court (BAG) ruling of September 2022, employers in Germany are required to systematically record their employees working time — start, end and duration including breaks. The Working Hours Act (ArbZG) applies to all industries. Self-employed people also benefit from time tracking — as proof for the tax office, for invoicing and for capacity planning.

    With this free online time tracking you record your working time per task and per project right in the browser — no registration, no app installation, no credit card. The time clock runs immediately, you enter a task description and an optional project, click start and record your time to the minute. Breaks can be taken at any time and are automatically deducted from the net working time. Multiple entries per day are possible, and you can add or correct times manually afterwards too.
